Description
Petri dishes are flat and clear dishes which withstand repeated sterilization whether wet or dry. Petri dishes have beaded edges providing greater mechanical strength. Also, the beads space the side walls of the bottom and the cover equally. This leads to diminishing condensed moisture on the sides. No chemical or thermal methods used in laboratories can affect petri dishes although sterilization is a major factor in laboratories work. Petri dishes are made from borosilicate glass and have thick walls and are supplied with lids. They are available in various sizes:
- 60mm
- 75mm
- 80mm
- 90mm
- 100mm
