The PEG tube is made from polyurethane and incorporates a radio-opaque strip. It features a radio-opaque silicone retention disc and an external colour- and size-coded silicone fixation plate. The tube also includes interval markings every 2 cm from 2 cm to 16 cm.

The insertion system includes a puncture cannula with safety air valve, introducer cone with double thread, safety scalpel, external silicone fixation plate, tube clamp and ENFit connector assembly.

Freka® PEG Standard Gastric is latex-free, PVC-free and DEHP-free. It is indicated for long-term intragastric feeding and may also be used for palliative gastric decompression or drainage by gravity.
