Mepilex Border Flex Dressing
Mepilex Border Flex is a five-layer bordered foam dressing designed to absorb,
channel, and retain exudate while helping clinicians visually track wound
progress. Its proprietary Flex Technology allows the dressing to move naturally
in all directions, minimising skin stress and helping it stay securely in place.
The dressing is flexible, easy to handle, and engineered to reduce leakage and
maceration. With a high moisture vapour transmission rate, it supports extended
wear time. The gentle silicone contact layer ensures atraumatic removal,
protecting both the wound bed and surrounding skin.
The spreading layer helps distribute fluid evenly across a wide surface area,
transporting exudate into the retention layer and backing film. The integrated
exudate progress monitor assists with assessing fluid absorption and reducing
unnecessary dressing changes.
Mepilex Border Flex is suitable for a variety of moderately to highly exuding
wounds, including venous leg ulcers, pressure injuries, diabetic foot ulcers,
skin tears, and other acute or chronic wounds.
