Laerdal "The BAG II" Disposable Resuscitator
The BAG II Disposable Resuscitator is Laerdal’s option for disposable ventilation. For lung ventilation on patients, without clean up and the risk of cross- contamination, The BAG II Disposable Resuscitator is the top choice. The BAG II has 3 different options for ventilation bag volume: adult, child or infant, all sold separately.
Performance and value
Like its reusable sibling, the Laerdal Silicone Resuscitator, The BAG II consists of 5 important parts. The see through mask seals tightly to the patient’s face, ensuring correct ventilation, and enables providers to view patient lip color, secretion and fogging from exhalation. The elbow between mask and ventilation bag swivels 360 degrees, so users can provide care from any angle.
The yellow PVC ventilation bag is see through and has an ergonomic construction. The ergonomic construction provides an excellent feel of lung compliance and helps avoid excessive ventilation that could damage the lungs. For user comfort The BAG II also comes with an adjustable handle that can strap users’ hands to the ventilation bag for reduced hand fatigue. That way it doesn’t matter how big or small the users hand are, or the size of the bag, the provider is strapped in to provide controlled ventilation.
For supplemental oxygen from an external source, The BAG II includes a Closed System Oxygen Reservoir with Universal Star-Lumen Oxygen Tubing to connect to the oxygen source. This allows providers to administer 98-100% O2 concentration. There is no need for an adapter between tubing and flow meter, the tube fits directly.
The BAG II comes in 3 different sizes; adult for patients over 20 kg, Child for patients between 10 and 20 kg and infant for patients between 2.5 and 12 kg. The child and infant sizing options are fitted with a “pop off” valve on the elbow to ensure that the correct pressure of air is administered to smaller, more vulnerable lungs. The valve pops off when pressure exceeds 35 cm H2O.

Excellent product . So difficult to find in most medical supplies companies online . The real deal here and the price is exceptional. No more catching the silly standard cotton balls in dressing packs with the plastic forceps . Most critical of all is the safety of not leaving particles of cotton wool on/ in a wound ,acting essentially as a foreign body .
The gauze wrapping around the STERILE cotton balls has a black thread of cotton through it so it is easily located if inadvertently left in a deep wound.
The next much needed essential is the standard everyday dressing packs to have gauze cotton balls that used to be - far less risk of contamination than squeezing sterile cleanser out of silly pieces of flat pieces of gauze . It’s a no brainer !
Great product...really ideal with the situation I was faced with..highly recommended
Just right I will need to order more
I ordered a box of 27 tetra packs of Ensure Plus chocolate from Medisa recently. My order was delivered in a very short period of time. Medisa offered me a generous discount. I will recommend this company to all my relatives, friends and acquaintances. Ensure Plus is an excellent product recommended to me by health specialist. I lost some body weight. My doctor wanted me to gain some healthy weight.
I have never found a cream like this ever. I suffered from really dry skin which no longer exists after applying this cream. I will recommend it to all my friends and family.
