The anatomically shaped pad Abena San Premium are especially for people with heavy to very heavy urine loss. Due to the anatomical shape, the inlay fits well on the body. The pad is provided with a maximum breathable film. This stops the urine, but allows the warm air to escape, minimizing the risk of skin irritation. For extra safety, the Abena San has so-called leak barriers. The leak barriers provide additional security, as urine cannot flow out to the side. The Abena San inserts also have special anti-leak edges, which offer optimal protection against leaks. Both ensure that the urine cannot flow from the side, front and back of the dressing.
The inside of the Abena San Premium 10 has a unique TopDry layer. This layer ensures rapid distribution of the urine over the entire mat and feels dry to the touch. The absorbent mat is constructed in such a way that the moisture is absorbed evenly. The top layer of the Abena San consists of a soft non-woven layer that allows moisture to pass through quickly. On the outside of the product is the urine saturation indicator, a useful aid when changing; the lines and blocks change color when the product becomes saturated.
Abena San is equipped with an Oder System, which helps prevent unpleasant odors. Abena San pads have an uncolored inside, are dermatological tested and have the Nordic Eco-label. This is the Eco-label of the Scandinavian countries. The raw materials come from sustainable FSC-certified forestry.
