Ugo Fix Gentle is a medical and non-sterile device designed for conveniently adhering to your skin and creating fixation for two-way indwelling urinary catheter. Ugo Fix Gentle has a rotating clip which can hold the catheter away from your skin when it rotates. The catheter is capable of naturally moving with your body motion. This will diminish pain and discomfort of inadvertent moving or pulling of the catheter. The rotating clip can be applied in a position to suit you as it is attached to a re-adhesive silicone gel pad. No skin preparation is needed before using Ugo Fix Gentle and you can gently remove it without using any solutions or chemicals.

Fixation clip

The clip itself is excellent which is important. The biggest issue that I have found is the adhesive pad is not strong enough. Try as we might we cannot get the pad to stick properly to my leg . After a short period of time it moves and falls off at the most inconvenient times and causes some shock and pain esp. If the bag is full. We now use two different securment pad we cut the medisa clip off and stick it to my leg with a different brands pad as it’s adhesive is much more secure. We have to use the medisa clip as we can’t find any other to fit the catheter. The catheter is the best I have used.If you have any advice that would greatly appreciated.Anything that would make my wife’s life easier.Cheers Paul
