Teleflex Trach-Vent Nose Filter Swedish Hudson (41112)

I've used these noses for about 27 years and don't know what I'd do without them (well, my lungs would be uncomfortably cold/dry and I'd be scared of fluff, bugs and going outside). This brand lasts a solid 24 hours unlike other brands I have tried which get soggy and weird at about 4hrs. I have no idea why clinicians/nurses in my area don't recommend them more to adults with permanent tracheostomies. Ok, they look a bit strange but if you have a plastic tube in your neck anyway who cares, right? One alternative is a bib... enough said.

As my wife had throat cancer we used these items to enable her to be disconnected from machines during the day. These track vents were very effective. This company was very easy to deal with as well as cost competitive.
