Aptamil Feed Thickener is a specialty thickening agent suitable for use with breast milk or infant formula. Thickened feeds may help with the dietary management of regurgitation or mild reflux. The product is instantly thickening, tasteless, and odourless, ensuring easy use without altering the flavour of the feed.

Usage Instructions

• For breastfed infants: Mix Aptamil Feed Thickener with a small amount of cooled boiled water or expressed breast milk and feed as a gel before, during, or after breastfeeding. It may also be mixed directly with expressed breast milk to thicken the feed.
• For formula-fed infants: Can be used to thicken standard or specialty formulas. For infants already requiring a thickened feed, Aptamil Gold+ Reflux Infant Formula (which contains built-in thickener) is recommended.

A feed thickener to support infants with regurgitation. This product is not an infant formula or complete food for infants. Not suitable for premature infants. Use only under medical supervision.

Feeding Guide

For breastfed infants

Mix with cooled boiled water or expressed breast milk and feed as a gel before, during, or after breastfeeding, or mix directly into expressed breast milk to thicken.

For formula-fed infants

Can be added to standard infant formulas or specialty formulas. If a thickened formula is required, Aptamil Gold+ Reflux Infant Formula is the recommended option.
