Mepilex Border Flex is a bordered foam dressing with five layers used for absorbing, channeling and trapping exudate, allowing for tracking the progress. This foam dressing is designed with proprietary Flex Technology enabling movement in any direction, diminishing skin stress, ensuring convenience and keeping the dressing in place. Mepilex Border Flex is flexible and easy to handle. It lowers leakage and maceration risks and provides long wear time due to its high moisture vapor transmission rate. This bordered dressing provides an atraumatic removal for the wound and surrounding skin. It has a spreading layer distributing fluid over a wide surface area, and consequently transports fluid to the retention layer and backing film. It also provides you with an exudate progress monitor which tracks and records fluid, and therefore avoids excess dressing changes. Mepilex Border Flex Dressing is used for the management of a variety of moderately to highly exuding chronic and acute wounds including venous leg ulcers, pressure injuries, diabetic foot ulcers, skin tears and distressing wounds.
