Made from 100% carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) fibres, Kerracel Dressing absorbs and retains high levels of exudate, forming a gel which conforms to the wound bed and supports a moist wound healing environment. As fluid is absorbed vertically and locked away, peri-wound skin is protected from maceration. The unstitched design aids micro-contouring to the wound bed, minimising dead space where bacteria can proliferate. Conformability aids ease of application, whilst its ability to retain integrity when wet helps to facilitate integral removal.
