The 3M™ Pressure Reducing Heel Pads are made from silicone to protect the skin from pressure ulcers in at-risk patients by redistributing pressure on bony areas such as the heel or sacrum. The Kerrapro Pads are reusable and to be used on unblemished or recently healed skin to prevent pressure-related injuries. For the Heel Pads to be reused on the same patient, it is recommended to wash with soap and water.

These pads are comfortable, yet hard wearing, shown to withstand autoclave temperatures of 121°C without losing their properties. However, we simply recommend that you wash with soap and water – enabling them to be reused on the same patient and helping to reduce the cost of pressure ulcer prevention even further.
