The 3M Steri-Drape™ Laparotomy/Laparoscopy Drape 9063 is a sterile, single-use surgical drape designed to create and maintain a sterile barrier during laparotomy and laparoscopic procedures. The drape is manufactured from Absorbent Prevention Fabric, which combines an absorbent top layer with an impervious backing to help control fluids and prevent strike-through during surgery.
This drape features a rectangular fenestration (aperture) that allows direct access to the surgical site while maintaining coverage of the surrounding sterile field. It also includes arm extensions to provide additional coverage and flexibility for surgical staff and equipment during procedures.
The material is designed to be low-linting, fluid-resistant, and durable, helping reduce the risk of contamination and supporting infection-control protocols in the operating room. A reliable adhesive area helps secure the drape in place on the patient’s skin throughout the surgical procedure.
This drape is commonly used in abdominal, laparoscopic, and other general surgical procedures where maintaining a sterile environment and effective fluid management is essential.
