Acetic Acid 5% 100ml, also known as vinegar, is an acidic solution used as a medication to treat a number of conditions. The solution is v/v in purified water.

Indications:
• Treat infections of the ear canal
• Used in urology for irrigation to prevent infections
• Used in gynaecology to adjust pH and help detect cervical cancer during screenings

Warnings:
• Not for personal use
• Avoid contact with eyes and skin
• Avoid breathing vapour
• A transient stinging sensation may occur if spilt on skin
• Do not irrigate the brain, meninges or perforated eardrum
• The solution is not isotonic
• The solution is haemolytic
• Store below 25 degrees
