Freka Belly Button, is a percutaneous low profile feeding tube for long-term enteral nutrition with the option of straight or angled extension sets. It is a gastric replacement system for use within a fully formed and healed stoma tract. Freka Belly Button can be placed either by direct placement or using the ‘Seldinger Technique’ when the stoma tract is not easily accessible or straight. Each Freka Belly Button comes with our ‘Comfort Kit’ to aid in insertion which provides two extension sets to assist in quick use.

Features:

• Freka Belly Button is made of biocompatible medical grade silicone which makes it extra comfortable once inserted and it’s super low profile will mean it is rarely visible underneath clothing.
• Innovative features include a flat distal opening to avoid mucosal irritation and a built in anti-reflux valve to prevent unintended backflow.
• The ENFit extensions are 30cm in length and come in a straight option for bolus feeding and right angled option for continuous feeding. 
• Using the Seldinger technique, and wire guidance, the Freka Belly Button can find its way easily, especially in stoma tracts which might be crooked, very narrow or very long or with risk of fistula formation e.g. in cystic fibrosis.
• By using the Seldinger technique and included tools within the Freka Belly Button kit, stoma tract penetrations can be minimised. The soft tip of the Seldinger wire also minimises mucosal irritations. The Seldinger technique is recommended in both Hospital and Home Care settings.
• It is recommended to check the fill volume of the balloon once per week.
