3M Cavilon No Sting Barrier Film is an alcohol-free moisture barrier. It contains unique ingredients called polymers that form a waterproof, protective coating on the skin. It is breathable and transparent allowing for continuous visualisation and monitoring of skin. It is flexible and conforms to the skin during movement or position changes. The products unique 3M formulation contains a blend of not one but two polymers, including a Terpolymer and a Homopolymer (plasticiser). The Terpolymer is derived from three distinct monomers, that provides a protective coating on the skin, creating a highly effective barrier. The Homopolymer enhances the films ability to flex with the skin and helps to maintain a continuous, protective coating.

Cavilon spray

I thought the spray would suite me better for my gastronomy stoma but it sprays to wide an area and I'm using stoma powder with it so it results in a very messy area I use the adhesive remover but it takes for ever to remove the adhesive so I'll stick to the sponge wipes because I have more control over where I'm putting it

This is an amazing product!

Our special needs adult daughter's hands and skin integrity has improved beyond belief since using this product to form a barrier against her saliva - she has hands in mouth constantly and prior to using Cavilon the skin on her hands was macerated and deeply fissured - within THREE days of using this product along with neoprene 3/4 finger gloves and strong moisturizers, the improvement was beyond our expectations. We will continue to use Cavilon until such time as her behaviours no longer impact her skin integrity. Thank you!!

This amazing product has changed my adult special needs daughters life!
