Glass Syringe Luer Lock Metal Tip/ Luer Slip Glass tip

To clean syringes, it is best to use solvents known to be effective in solvating the sample and preferably are non-alkaline, non-phosphate and non-detergent based. • High quality water and acetone prove to be good rinses. • To clean the plunger, remove it

by twisting it counterclockwise and pulling it out. Use a lint-free cloth or tissue paper to wipe away any residue or particles. • Rinse the plunger with water or acetone to remove any remaining debris. • Be sure to dry the plunger thoroughly before reinserting it into the syringe.

When it comes to medical and laboratory procedures, precision and accuracy are of utmost importance. This is why the Glass Syringes Luer Slip/ Luer Lock - All Volume is the perfect tool for any healthcare professional or scientist. These syringes are specifically designed to provide precise measurements and reliable results in various applications.

Crafted from high-quality glass material, these syringes are durable and resistant to chemical reactions. This makes them ideal for use with any solvents or samples that may be corrosive or reactive. The glass material also ensures that there is no unwanted contamination or interaction between the syringe and the sample.

The Luer Slip and Luer Lock options provide flexibility for different procedures. The Luer Slip design allows for easy attachment and removal of needles, making it convenient for quick and simple injections. On the other hand, the Luer Lock design securely locks the needle in place, preventing accidental detachment during more complex procedures.

These syringes feature a metal or glass tip, depending on your preference. The metal tip is sturdy and can withstand multiple uses without distorting or deforming. The glass tip, on the other hand, offers a smooth and inert surface, reducing the risk of sample contamination or reactions.

Cleaning these syringes is a breeze. Simply remove the plunger by twisting it counterclockwise and wipe away any residue or particles with a lint-free cloth or tissue paper. Rinse the plunger with water or acetone to ensure thorough cleanliness. It is recommended to use solvents that are effective in solvating the sample and are non-alkaline, non-phosphate, and non-detergent based.

Whether you are a healthcare professional, researcher, or scientist, you can rely on the Glass Syringes Luer Slip/ Luer Lock - All Volume to deliver accurate and reliable results every time. Invest in this high-quality syringe and experience the difference it can make in your work.

Glass syringes

Product is as described. I wanted them for measuring as plastic one's numbers rub off. But as they are made of glass they are fatter then plastic ones so don't fit my purpose. But do work well so I'll find use for them.

Disappointed in returns policy

Buyer beware of returns policy.
Sick of throwing our disposable syringes (that we use until it dies a natural death), I purchased several glass syringes. I did not need to open them immediately as we still had a disposable one in use. A couple of weeks later I opened the 50ml syringe and the plunger wouldn't go all the way down. I drew it back up and tried again and it went down suddenly without warning. Despite not putting much pressure on it, it shattered the end. When I asked if it was possible to have a replacement and explaining the situation in more detail I was told I was outside of the 7 days returns policy (not by much) and I was asked for a photo of the broken syringe. With 14 baby kangaroo bottles, sterilised and waiting to be filled with formula, it was not my first thought. Cleaning up the broken glass and throwing everything away was a priority. My correspondence with the company was disappointing. The other syringes are great and still in use several times a day. They work well, wash well and appear to be quite hardy by comparison to the initial one I opened.

It broke before I could use it. The plunger wouldn't come out of the sleeve and when I went to push it back down a few centimetres it smashed. I used no pressure at all as I was aware it was glass.Because I didn't open it when I received it, rather when I needed it the 7 day refund policy was no longer applicable. I asked for a replacement and basically got told it was just bad luck on my part. I purchased 4 and 3 work fine. I just wanted it replaced - but no. I found it pretty poor customer service over 1 syringe.
