Mepilex XT Absorbent Foam dressings help manage nearly any exuding wound, including sloughy wounds, at any stage of healing. These soft, conformable dressings are made with Molnlycke’s patented Safetac® wound contact layer, which is designed to seal wound margins without adhesive, which helps protect against leakage and maceration of surrounding tissue.
Mepilex XT Foam Dressing Features
These highly absorbent dressings feature a set of unique, integrated channels designed to draw exudate away from the wound bed as it is absorbed. Both low- and high-viscosity exudate are then distributed across the polyurethane foam pad for even absorption. Other features of these foam dressings include:
